How Can You Stay Organized During a Move?
Moving can be extremely time consuming, and even stressful when you’re not completely organized. It’s important to go into the entire process with a plan in mind. Moving companies can make the process a little easier as far as getting your belongings safely to your new location. But, to take even more of the hectic nature out of moving itself, there are a few organizational tips you can use. Keeping these tips in mind can make for a more stress-free process from start to finish.

Avoid Wasting Time

However, most of that procrastination can be avoided when we force ourselves to jump right in. Don’t negotiate or argue with yourself on when or how you’ll get things done - make a point to just do them whenever you’re thinking about it. The sooner you step up to the plate and get those menial tasks done, the more free time you’ll have later.
Get Rid of the Goods
When you’re packing up your home, you’re bound to find things that you either haven’t used in a long time, don’t want, or won’t use in your new home. A helpful trick? Get rid of it! Make piles somewhere within your home, and designate items to each pile: Keep, donate, or throw away. It’s an easy system that makes packing go by that much faster!

Not only will it make your tasks easier to complete (and ensure they get done), but it will keep you organized as you move into your new home, so you won’t be scrounging around looking for specific unlabeled boxes or items.
